「我怕我不能控制自己的情緒！」「我總是壓抑不下來情緒！」情緒是否該被壓抑、控制，才是一種高EQ的展現？抑或是，情緒是自然傾向、是內心的自我對話?!
劇中是一位推拿師「天意」（黃秋生飾）和幾位去推拿的客人，串連在一起的故事。許多內心受的苦，會透過身體的病痛呈現出來，而天意師傅從感受他們的身體狀況，理解並打開了他們的心門，讀著他們所經歷的人生。
在學校的場域工作，常常會接到需要做哀傷輔導或是危機處理的孩子，但很奇怪的是，並不是每個孩子在面對危機或是失落的時候，都有滿滿的情緒，可能只是淡淡地告訴你，他很難過
